Summary: The PISA assessment test 15-year old on how well they know their reading, mathematics, and science. This year Singapore took part and was rank top five. The important thing behind the number is Singapore student are improving. This time Singapore did better when Singapore first took part in 2009, which shows that Singapore is moving in the right direction. Mr Heng said that there's improvement shows Singapore teaching strategies are working, and this is possible because of the high motivation of students, and the strong guidance and care from parents.
Opinion: I feel that Singapore should keep going on in this direction so that Singapore student would keep improving. Singapore should also take part in more of this kind of assessment so as to know if we are declining or improving.
