Summarise the method and aims of youth activism in the past by Ryan

Summary: As education was both a personal and a collective quest for survival. Parents sae it as providing their children with a way out of grinding poverty. For the children of labouring poor  who could not afford regular school they attend night school found by itinerant hawkers associations. Students from elite schools also helps to teach people younger than them by a few year at the school. The economics of desperation and the politics of hope created  this kind of individual who, empowered by others, wanted to empower society.
